Visa detail redesign & tax-treaty accuracy
- Redesigned the visa detail cards with clearer, colour-coded icons for each kind of requirement — income, health coverage, where to apply, documents, processing time, and renewal — so each visa is far easier to scan
- Added at-a-glance tax-treaty status to every destination, showing whether your home country has an active treaty in place and what it means for your pension income
- Corrected and verified tax-treaty coverage against official government sources, including several treaties that were previously missing — for Canadian users this adds the Philippines, Indonesia, Ecuador, Vietnam, Taiwan, Kenya, and Argentina, among others
- Improved the Pro "Check for updates" feature so it applies the changes it finds while keeping each destination's established list of visa programs stable, and handles a slow check gracefully instead of showing an error
- Fixed the data-freshness label so each destination reflects its own last full-update month, rather than every country showing a single shared date
- Refreshed the affordability verdict and savings-runway summaries with clearer status colours and crisp icons that render consistently across devices
- Numerous visual polish improvements across cards, icons, spacing, and dark-mode colours

- Fixed an issue where destinations with many visa programs — notably the UAE — could occasionally be skipped during the monthly data update; these now refresh reliably
- Made the monthly data refresh more resilient to how the AI source formats its response, so valid updates are no longer discarded when extra explanatory text accompanies the figures
- Gave the destinations with the most visa categories extra room to generate their write-ups, preventing detailed visa descriptions from being cut short

- Visa card amounts now display in the selected destination's local currency, with a live conversion to your home currency shown alongside, instead of in US dollars
- Rebuilt the Pro "Check for updates" feature to be faster — it runs a quick change-check against the official source first and only does a full data refresh when something has actually changed
- Added safeguards to the monthly data update so implausible or malformed figures can't reach live destination data

- Added a self-service FAQ page covering the app, visas, income & pension, currency, and account questions, linked from the footer on every page
- Added a "Delete my saved data" option to the save/restore card, so a saved scenario can be erased without emailing support
- Saved scenarios now expire automatically after a period of inactivity, in line with our published data retention policy

- Current age now defaults to your origin country's official retirement age instead of a fixed default, until you adjust it yourself
- Fixed the Currency Stress Test card showing the wrong country pair and subtitle after switching destinations
- Reformatted the age-adjusted pension amount display for clarity
- Visa options — including marriage/family-reunification visas — now show comprehensive write-ups covering income requirements, where to apply, required documents, processing time, and renewal terms, kept current through monthly updates and manual checks

- Switched billing from test to live Stripe keys, with a live webhook and self-serve customer billing portal

- Added a newsletter opt-in at save time

- Built a full currency converter — tap any 💱 amount or the fixed converter button to convert between any two currencies in real time
- Redesigned every affiliate section with brand-accurate colors and a consistent horizontal banner card style
- Added a rotating set of international health insurance partners (two alternating sets per session)
- Added Booking.com (North America origins) and Airbnb (all destinations) affiliate banners
- Fixed visa-description currency conversions to use live exchange rates rather than stale estimates
